Angel Tridents Poem by O Anna Niemus

Angel Tridents

Rating: 5.0

He listened to the chain saw
and prayed that God would prevent
the eviction of flightless fledglings
from their fir tree homes
the smashing of spruce nested squirrels
the suffocation of foxes and gophers in
their dens
.. by sending angels to break the chain saws
and
deny gas to the bulldozers
