Angel Of Dreams Poem by Spiritwind Wood

She came to me one night
with a soul shining so bright
a heart as beautiful as a rose
like the sun shimmering through
in a December snow
floating down endless streams

And in her smile, heaven knows
she's an Angel of dreams
with eyes blue as the summer sky
that sparkles like a Northern light
in the mist of a morning dew

The days come and go
hours pass endless it seems
as I long to hold her tight
in a time that never goes
while this love, continues to grow
she's all I ever want to know

I hold her so close next to me
where she can only set me free
underneath a lonely weeping willow
in a place I wait for her to walk on by

And in her smile, heaven knows
she's an Angel of dreams
that shines down like a rainbow
many colors of you and me
