RUBAB ATWAL

Angel Among Us

You let go of my hand and said you'll be back
but you kept me waiting till now
left me hanging in a world so dead
held up so high on such a breakable thread
I am surrounded by people who are not good
as you were the only one with me who stood
and now I just keep on telling them that you were
an angel among us.

.... Even though the person has kept you waiting till now, your sweet attribution of angelic virtue to him/her sounds well and let us hope one day you both will be together again. A fiene write Rubab. (Report) Reply

No tongue would ask no eye would mourn
I never caused a thought of gloom
A smile of joy since I was born

In secret pleasure - secret tears
