Angel Above The Hill

Angel in the sky, shining so bright
Lighting the road for me tonight

I see your star like eyes that make me wonder
What kind of spell have you put me under

I climb to the highest mountain peak
And to the lowest valley creek

I stop and wonder if ill ever catch you
I turn around and see those eyes of greenish blue

I kiss your lips and the world stands still
This is my angel girl from above the hill

poet Emily Jane Brontë

I am the only being whose doom
No tongue would ask no eye would mourn
I never caused a thought of gloom
A smile of joy since I was born

In secret pleasure - secret tears
