Anecdote Of A Neglected Man Poem by Zillur Rahman Shuvro

Anecdote Of A Neglected Man

Nobody loved me…I'm anonymous one!
I'm alive like the sigh of an abandoned house.
I'm nameless flower blooming in the dark jungle!
Nobody has taken my smell.
I'm slighted like an emaciated brook!
No boatman has floated his boat on my chest.
I'm like a broken arrow!
The supercilious eyes of an archer are my fate.
I'm like an obsolete piano lying in the bed of dust!
No magical finger of a pianist has touched me.
I'm like the solitary mountain of the Mars!
No mountaineer has climbed on the peak of me.
I'm husky cawing and annoyed squeaking!
Nobody has spent a little time to hear me.
I'm like a scheduled caste!
No blue-blood walks on my shadow.
I'm like a dictator thrown in the garbage of history!
Except hatred no poet has written a single verse about me.
I'm like an oily and worn-out mattress!
Except cockroach nobody accepted my invitation so far.
I'm like the oldest burdensome hippo!
All young hippos have left me, I'm dying!
I'm like the symbolic stone-pillar of Satan!
Muslim Pilgrims cast hateful pebbles to me.
I'm like the Mein Kampf of Adolf Hitler!
The fore-fingers of Jews are on triggers to make me alveolar.
I'm zonked like the last days of a hundred years old!
Naked truth! All doors of the world are closed for me.
