'And This Too Shall Pass' Poem by Luna Moon

'And This Too Shall Pass'

'And this too shall pass',
'Tis my favorite saying,
Though I'm starting to believe it's but a lie.
Because still the sea churns.
Churns and turns and rips me apart.
Limb from limb,
Because it loves my screams,
Loves to drown me while I pray and recite,
'And this too shall pass!
And this too shall pass! '
But it never does pass.
It still grabs and pulls and rips at me,
Torturing me,
Too vicious to show me mercy with death.
So still I continue to scream,
'And this too shall pass!
And this to shall pass! '
Until the sea duth finally drown me.
