And The Red Wine Is So Thirsty Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

And The Red Wine Is So Thirsty

Rating: 4.8

He placed
deep red ruby gems
upon my lips.

Tantalizing is my tongue,
senses so seductive.

The candle, lights my face
with flares of gold.

And the red wine
is so thirsty.

This is a very vivid compact religious? poem about God and my interpretation would be communion with God given the personification of the wine. You have a way with carefully using your words, not wasting anything. Well done! :)

How vivid. This short but powerful poem fills the mind with much visual stimulation - much to think and reflect on. Gorgeous. Thanks!
