And The Gates Will Be Closed Soon

-to R.Aj. Kartini (21 April 1879 - 17 September 1909) -

The moss green wall, my friend
is not the frozen wall confining
Among the shade of Keben trees
There was no pain eventhough
There is a little sadness
Reading will not be conquered
Heart of the wet pen
I want to swim to the land of your birth
If the days will be filled with gloom
Then writing a letter or poem
is a must and will that in
The floor was cold
And the gates will be closed
soon

poet Christina Georgina Rossetti

Where sunless rivers weep
Their waves into the deep,
She sleeps a charmed sleep:
Awake her not.
Led by a single star,
She came from very far
