And Stupidly; I Still Love You
Your smile gave me a high,
Your eyes lifted me to the sky.
You're a woman people admire,
You're a woman who can inspire.
You made my love turn on,
But my feelings for you are so wrong.
I wanted us to be more than friends,
But you bought my love to an end.
Because of you...
My heart is frozen; unable to beat,
Un capable to love something so sweet.
My heart is blackened; a dead lump of coal,
Although it may search - it will never find a soul.
Like a criminal in a night,
My heart instantly puts up a fight.
The Blackness grows a little each day,
Strangling my heart, like it's his pray.
If I had known what you'd do,
I never would have fallen in love with you.
But every fake smile and every fake look,
Opened my heart to feelings you took.
No knife, no gun, could hurt me like you did,
You've ruined my life; and I'm only a kid.
I was sixteen and you were twenty - eight,
And now I have to live with this guilt and hate.
And stupidly... I still love you
