And Still Your Love Poem by Rose Falcone

And Still Your Love

Rating: 5.0

Your patience astounds me
Your strength surrounds me
Your calm is surreal
Your heart you readily reveal

I fight these feelings to no avail
And still your love doth prevail

You venture forth and stake a claim
Your faith in love has my heart aflame
Though I faltered and wavered
Your love I have savored

I can’t fight these feelings any more
And still your love I cannot ignore

I’ve fallen head over heels
Closing the door on past ordeals
No longer wounded, breath not held
Ready to love, all hesitancy quelled

I embrace these feelings, I do
And still your love, it sees me through
