You and I could never relate
For you are a realist
And I am an escapist
It was a fault
To think
We could be mates

Crystallised camphor
In me you can just see
The sublimate form
Too invisible for yea

So out of this garden
Of Eden I go
Out in the wild patch
I'll find a place to grow

Out of your sight
Out of your way
Just on my own
Keep on living
My merry way

No exotic plant
Or medicinal tree
A simple little shrub
That you find
Will be me

Once in a while
Blooms will cover
All my parts
Once in a while
A little nest
Will find me safest
At last.
