Anchor In Wingham Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Anchor In Wingham

Anchor in Wingham

Has no port, there’s no ship, just anchor
Name and sign for saying: “I am here.”
To her side is baby as if whale has a calf
That is pub the main walls are of brick
(Old carvings)
Then wood fence in distance; floor is concrete
Scene is nice for fooling but spoils Fibre wool.
