Anatomy Of Sadness Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

Anatomy Of Sadness

Anatomy of my sadness

Red piranhas of the sea
In many pieces,
they bit me.
A
Apathetic adversary
Carnivores calamity
There comes their school
No time to see

They dismember
My every part
I feel the blood
Just rushing fast

And just before
I wanted to set free
These Pisces fiend
Had devoured me

Sadness too eats
From within
Nothing left of me
Just skeletal remains

That too in time
Will melt away
Like a misty vapour
Just fade away
