An Open Letter

I have 70+ unanswered messages
in my PH mail box
I am 30+ responses behind
on answering your kind comments on my poems.
.
I feel guilty of friend neglect.
.
One day I will answer each and every one of those messages- I am dying of curiosity as to what they say! ! !
Presently I am working- slowly- on replying to all the
comments on my poems.
.
I beg your pardons and I beg your patience.
.
My eyes are hurting me, sometimes I can hardly see.
They are in need of a laser operation
and I cannot use them for very long at a time
So short bursts of writing at a time is what I am doing.
.
I think you PH'ers are awesome.
.
I cannot believe how sweet you all are
to continue to read my works
and leave comments when you must have wondered
what the @@#$%^&*&(**^&%^$#$ was up with me!

Whatever you write is always worth waiting for! So you take your time and get that treatment. All your friends will be overjoyed when you are feeling better.
Robert- - -Do not say anything nice to me, I do not deserve it! ! ! I have 200+ messages in my mailbox and I will never ever ever get them read.... uh-oh.... I think I hear a lynch mob forming
Soran, You have such a generous and forgiving soul- - but I must answer my mail, not to do so would bring a frown to my Mother's kind face! ! ! But you do make me feel better about the time it has taken to get this far in answering letters.

PART 1. Bernard...I think I will call this An Open Thank You note! ! ! I Now I hate a form letter as much as the next person but I am forced to use one. Today has been unpleasant eye-wise yet because of you all today has also been a very uplifting day when I sat down to read your well wishes. We have the most wonderful friendships with our fellow writers here at PoemHunter! ! ! !
PART 2. - -Bernard... I mean really how many writing groups have you been in that respond to each other like you all.do? ? Please forgive me for using the same note to answer each of you but I can barely see the screen.Tons of love and well wishes back atcha. You all are definitely the best of the best!
