An Ode To Good Health Poem by Walterrean Salley

An Ode To Good Health

You are your health, and your health is you.
How far you can go, how much you can do
Depends on how well you take care of you
The thought of good health, you have no clue.
Don't miss the chance of a life time.

I've heard it before, I'll hear it again:
Live and let live. How sad a refrain,
When the cloud bursts and down pours the rain,
Spent health is no vacation to Spain
Don't miss the chance of a life time.

Balance your diet. Those muscles to tone
Till they become firm, much like a stone.
Breakfast in the morning and lunch at noon
And fill your heart with a right cheery croon.
Don't miss the chance of a life time.
