On an island
I met you
in my dreams
one night
And the moonlight
before us
it danced through
your starlight
as the sun woke
around us
and palms swayed
through tree tops
A smile
I gave you
came crashing
with the waves
And I'm happy
for the first time
with the sunrise
before me
To see you
even a dream
the blue sky
she calls us
To have known you
one time
as we walk
a boardwalk
I hand you
bright beads
you wear them
your neckline
And we smile
together
drum beats
and congas
Surrounded by
people
I'm lost in
your eyesight
And the beauty
of a face
I've seen like
no other
To see you
even a dream
the blue sky
before us
To have known you
one time
as we walk
this boardwalk
A fisher
finds his catch
children
feed seagulls
and you here
is all i need
on an island
in a dream
This is something similar to a Copacobana scenario. I like the rhythm particularly.
For me the good poem is a dream island, when reading it i must feel that i am leaving the place where i am. That is why I like to read poetry and that is why i like this piece very much - it makes me travel far away. Your easy flow of words made my travel a pleasure. mmmm, very harmonious piece... Peace, onelia
ha ha ha a good dream land. Isn't every man an island in himself, especially when he is with his sweetheart? Really enjoyed your poem.10/10 CP

Just imagine if your dream got muddled up and you ended up in AnIs land... haha! ! ! ... I'd love the spirited plastered effects you'd come up... for sure...: ~)
