An Infinite Minute Poem by jr pr

An Infinite Minute

Rating: 3.5

Somewhere between my heaven and my pure hell
I exist with all the noise and confusion,
Through the fog and smoke and LA smog
I can see your image struggling, fighting the illusion.

It just may well be the reason I turned left and not right
That you have catapulted into my field of vision, someway.
It just may also be in my opinion, understand?
Because of your choices our paths crossed today.

And the echoes last forever, although nothing lasts forever.
The rippling effect goes round the world and back.
The waves come crashing on the shores touched by you, touched by me,
Our universes parallel each other’s gray between the white and black.

I’m glad to pass this moment in eternity
And thankful that it didn’t pass me by.
Can we stop the world to spend this time together?
The door’s ajar and all that’s left to do is try.
