An Indian Lady

  Bindi on forehead,
Mangalsutra around the neck
Sindoor in the middle of the head
Makes my indian lady great and holy.

Many faces of an indian lady,
Sometimes she becomes sita maa,
Sometimes she becomes durga maa,
But my indian lady is always full of love.

Her body and character
More precious than money,
Her duty she knows properly
On every occasion,
When she is a mother,
She loves her child very much,
When she is a sister,
She protects her brother from every difficulty,
When she is a wife,
She is very fully dedicated towards her husband.

Where the indian lady is worshipped,
How can that nation be so dirty?
My land becomes also pure and holy,
And I feel proud that I am born on this land.

When the moon doesn’t appear,
She is not having a bit as well,
She can remain hungry but
Will never snatch the piece of chapatti
From her son’s mouth.
