An Improved Me Poem by Linda Engwall

An Improved Me

Rating: 5.0

Surrendering to try
Do a better me
Fashion myself as whole person

Truthfully
We just don’t have forever
To get this right

Unless we believe we keep coming back
Again and again
Until we get it correct
Oh, my

Somehow I hope
We don’t
Just move on,
Pass go,
Collect your 200 dollars

To a better place
Surrounded by
Those who have
Gone before

Beautiful faces
Of loved ones
We can see once again

Living again as me
In this earthly world
As I am
Until I move on to a better place

Engulfed by you my loves
Can not wait to see you again
