An Idiom Can Change Your Life

Not very often the train breaks down
Like human thought in the spring of negation
Not very often the tree falls down
Without the message of cold destruction
Destruction is plain and simple
But so is the path of rejection
Not very often the train breaks down
The thought of reinvention
A truth once discovered my friend
Like human thought is negation
Not very far from truth
Lives a Science of predilection
A principle transforms not
The man of natural selection
But a transcendent device
Guides man through mutation.

poet Alfred Lord Tennyson

It little profits that an idle king,
By this still hearth, among these barren crags,
Match'd with an aged wife, I mete and dole
Unequal laws unto a savage race,
