An Event Or Happening Poem by William B. Booth, Jr.

A birthday, an anniversary, or a wedding,
all are unique in their own way
And could be classified as a current event
or happening, one might say.
My viewpoint in simplifying the stated basic categories
They are only a yarn or a well-planned story.
Each has it's own characters, plot, and a particular theme
A realization of a specific dream or a scheme.
Keeping all this in mind and with no further ado
I would like to present my poems to you.
