An Evening's View Poem by Angel A. Lockwood

An Evening's View

Rating: 5.0

It was one evening
Spent with you
Now we are both
Especially discreet
When telling others
Exactly, what we did or
Simply did not do
I enjoyed each delicate moment
I shared with you
As we watched television
Listened to music too,
While rehearsing the past
Of whom we liked and
Each both knew
Somehow, that evening
We allowed ourselves
To see each other
From a different shade or view
I guessed we now share
A secret or two
Something we both never guessed
For neither had a clue

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Iam in a new area- meeting new people.
Often people catergorizes each other, based on society's views.
Often old views are proven to be completely wrong.
Hind's sight is 20/20
Life is different with the correct info.
