An Enigma...? Poem by DEEPAK KUMAR PATTANAYAK

An Enigma...?

Rating: 5.0

An enigma…?
- - - - - - - -
Tough nut to crack
She does look like
Her grace is her fairness
But distant and secretive
Always she remains
As if she is viewing
Every word spoken
Inhaling everything
Like a tricky question
And all with quiescence
Seems nurturing a secret
In her inmost thought
But too shy to hide
Any secret like a flowerlet
Barely does she know
In hiding she is revealing
The secret of her heart
Like a timid flower lending
The ambient air
With a fragrance rare

Some are not easy to be analysed or explored, but they hold a secret charm and continue to entice and also baffle us! Like a timid flower concealed by the leaves, but announcing its presence through its fragrance, she too in hiding is revealing! A great write made profound by economy of words! I give you 10 Deepak!

Beautiful poem with quiet interesting lines...... Barely does she know In hiding she is revealing The secret of her heart Like a timid flower lending The ambient air With a fragrance rare Very true said, unknowingly one reveal the secret. or one cannot keep secret to oneself. Loved the way you presented it.
