An Empty Place Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

An Empty Place

Rending my heart with it's black magic of darkness in
grief's depths beneath life.

Encased in death's grasp, being held intolerably in an
empty place of uselessness.

Waiting for an escape into lands of beautiful insistence,
relentlessly eluding me right this moment.
