An Empty Life Poem by Miranda Van Yperen

An Empty Life

Most lives have
Love, hope, and peace

You only wish this
Empty life was better

But in this life
The pains increase

It's a drained life
It's got nothing

Only pure hate
And great misery

Strong feelings of loss
With everything aching

You’d hate this life
If it was yours

So think of people
Who live through it

Think of people
That everyone ignores

They live and die
With that empty life, alone

Next time
Think of your family

Crying on your
Gravestone
