An Awakening Poem by Linda Pollizze

Out of total pain and despair, In the early morning hours
I called out your name, and God you were there
You took my hand and guided the way,
And changed the course of my life, with each and every new day
You ignited my spirit and touched my soul,
Then took the broken pieces inside and brought them together,
So I could become whole
Your visions and dreams of all you knew I could be,
Came into my sight, and I believed all things were possible,
Through faith, prayer and you guiding light
Since that awakening so many new dreams, visions and
Directions continuously appear
I need not fear and just look within, and Dear Lord,
You are always there
