(A haiku)
Magpies carolling;
cows ambling beneath the gums
to drink from the creek.
This paints a picture of outback Australia for me. Magpies have a unique sound that has to be heard to believe. I have wondered 'why does a red cow give white milk when it always eats green grass'? Seriously Rory, thanks for your great Australian Scene. 10 Karin Anderson
Are magpies Christians and if so do they sing Christmas carols AJS
