An Artist Poem by Janelle Morehart

An Artist

Rating: 5.0

An Artist Tells The Truth Through Lie's
Your not an artist, So dont even try
I'm an in your face poet
That's without a doubt
When you would whisper, I will shout
So come on and tell your tale
Sing your sugary song
All frothed with lie's, doubt and fear
Hidden amongst the fairy ring
I am an artist
I do not dance
I do not sing
I can only do as I do best
And write till my hand drops
I tell a lie but it is truth
I tell a truth through a lie
I am an Artist
And I shall be, till I die

You're also cocky about it, thus, making you a very prideful 'artist.' Oh well. To each his own. ~Sarah
