An Apple Fell On His Head

Rating: 3.0

An apple fell on his head
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Then his prying eyes were scanning around
Up and down and up and down
Once and twice the event to discern
Could not say it soft or hard
Though it did hit right his head
Triggering a train of thought in his mind
Of why and why it did
Come down and not go up when
An apple fell the earth on
Not an uncommon phenomenon, nature
Off and on entertains to all, yet an event rare
Unlike others haunted him to think smart
And gift the mankind the best
Of science as the law of gravitation
Not yet discovered now got it down
Oh what a promising day it was, upon
Entering into the Garden of Eden
Newton’s head was hit by an apple
And the world woke up to a new dawn of purple
Oh man be not afraid of falling apples overhead
For nature always plays down things we need
to comprehend
