An Angel Poem by Akshat Bharti

An Angel

Rating: 4.5

Once there was a boy
To the world he seemed like a toy
Different he was
Problems he had rough
For the world, he used to smile
Making others happy, just like an entertaining joker

No friend, No Mentor
Ununderstood, alone he was
God was harsh and rude, apparently not
And then there the angel was, waiting at the door
Disguised as a girl, in the boys life
Sustained and loved him all the while
Now he had a friend with whom he could walk miles

Gullible the boy was
Attached to the angel
Happy ending it would be he thought
Apparently not, after all the mentor was just god

And then the time passed
A friend was lost
Nowhere could she be found
Heart broken the boy was

For the world he again smiled
Now, A friend, a mentor in his heart.........
