An Abstract Rhyme Poem by DEEPAK KUMAR PATTANAYAK

An Abstract Rhyme

Rating: 5.0

An abstract rhyme
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
In places where fanaticism is wild
Does help it barbarism to breed
Not democracy it's but die-hard
Sort of theocracies that transcend
In judging evil as good
With concepts so antiquated
Do dare they to silence liberty to their petty end

Yes, it is a sad state of affairs with fanaticism and bigotry dominating the landscape and the voice of reason lost in wilderness. The world thus has become a dangerous place to live in. So, apart from the political leaders, it is high time that religious leaders too unite and put a common front against the common threat looming large over the society. Deepak ji a thought poem on the current state of affairs which deserves 10.

Due to misunderstanding people judge evil as good. However good hides but truth shines with feeling. Very nice presentation makes this poem worthy really.

Fanaticism of any sort.... be it religion, politics or any other ideology is so dangerous! It makes people blind and good is turned into evil. Liberal views and tolerance should be the stamp of a refined human being! Pithy and sharp!
