Amour Poem by Emmanuel EEA

Amour

The sky is blue

The weather so dull

Rain drops on the roof

Like a carpenter’s hammering

My love thinks I want to go swim

But I don’t

If I were a whale I would swim past the sky

I f I were the sun I would withdraw

My long misty arms of embrace

I would have my own world

I would say just what I want

I don’t know how it happened

Amour doesn’t know

It just happened

I guess love can’t be planned

It just happens
