Among The Stars Poem by Leinad Zerimar

Among The Stars

Rating: 3.0

From the heavens you appeared;
Through starlit midnight
You came to steal my heart,
Though together;
Forever worlds apart.

You found me in fear,
In darkness and gloom;
Then you opened your heart,
And unlocked my tomb.

Your eyes, like galaxies;
Full of stars and wonder,
Portals to differing realities.
Your skin like alabaster,
But softer than silk;
My heart pounding faster.
Your touch brings me peace,
A balm on my soul;
My sorrows released.

Compassion you gave me,
Not pity, but love.
Your mind a playground of affection;
Thoughts ancient and beautiful to behold;
Enigmatic forms of perfection.

'Forever, ' you told me,
' `Till the stars are removed, '
But we could not be.
We parted in dolor;
Pleadingly, I was cast out;
To suffer much anguish,
Solitude, panic, and doubt.

I was meant to forget you,
To never recall,
To never remember,
Who made me fall.
The cause of my pleasure?
The source of despair?
You left me a gift;
One without compare.

Your eyes, like galaxies;
Your last gift to me;
Full of stars and wonder,
Portals before my waking mind
Tear my dreams asunder.
By stars uncounted,
And suns without number,
I hereby confess:
Forever will I love you,
My Starlight Princess.

I don't know about oozing, but I'm glad you enjoyed it.
