Among The Poets Poem by Uriah Hamilton

Among The Poets

Rating: 4.4

T. S. Eliot and Ezra Pound
Are perfect;
Amber Lee is nearly perfect;
Tiffany is stunning;
Sherrie is astounding and cool;
Mary is a natural woman
With dirty hands and a sweet heart;
John Newton, Sonja, and Jacob Hassler
Are all quite lovely!

Uriah has to persevere
Through self-loathing and through tears!
But Arsiema is in Eritrea
Possibly saying prayers for me.

Wow, what a wonderfully friendly poem. You make it seem we here are all friends and family here on poemhunter! (As we should feel) I am truly honored to be mentioned in your work. (My dirty hands.....that's funny! ! You seem to know me so well! I like that.) Great poem Uriah. You would be a great peacemaker. Sincerely, Mary
