Amity in the abyss
How did we get to practicing malice
Days of loving and sharing are gone
Our camaraderie and relationship now sour
Today we reminisce our days of pleasure

Pride and anger made us disrespect each other
Our decisions and detour we did not ponder
Disheartening! we are running the rat race
An act detrimental to our progressive pace
Hatred and jealousy now governs our hearts
Our reach exceeded our grasps
Righting the wrongs is the reconciling path

Burying the hatchet is best
Lets take the hate off our chest
Again we can be good friends
And to take amity off the abyss
Lets learn to live in peace
