Amidst The Woe Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Amidst The Woe

As
In football
Amidst the woe
And breaking:
Amidst the disaster
On disaster
He found
With sacrifice
Strong work
And hard
At last
A leap of brain
That got him over
When
Choice was just
Either get over
Or else fall.

This is honestly a poem of strength and conveys that strength to the reader. There is no hype (an American idiom for false promises) and no special pleading. As the poem reveals, the hard work to achieve the balanced psychological state has already been achieved by you. THE LEAP OF THE BRAIN (marvelous phrase!) has cinched your conquest of whatever woe had stalled you. And so you can rest assured of victory this time and a reservoir of strength for the next such challenge.
