America Was Blessed Poem by Conley Murray

America is a nation that was great in every way,
they had prayers in our schools everyday,
and God blessed America in a very great way.

Now they have taken the prayers in our schools away,
our kids are not allowed to mention our Lord Jesus in any way,
they say it is too offensive in our day.

Our schools are not safe today,
because our kids are being taught all the wrong way,
and many have gone astray.

The police patrol our schools everyday,
yet many of the kids that went astray,
find a way to harm innocent lives in a very cruel way.

Crime is at an all time high in our great nation today,
because they have taken the prayers away.

If people would humbly get down on their knees and pray everyday,
then God would bless America again in a very mighty way.
