America In The War Poem by Lindsey Ansbro

America In The War

Rating: 5.0

And so the Great War begins with a bang,
And America is dragged into war.
They enter, and England happily sang,
And so America entered with a roar.

Many offensives for America,
All if which resulted in victory.
Much pride is shown in the Americas,
But with the deaths came great misery.

Eventually the treat is signed,
And so comes an end to World War One.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I had to right a 10 syllable iambic pentameter 10 line poem about World War One for my history class. I would like to here what everyone thinks because I am not much if a poet and I am hoping this poem isn't really bad.
