Amelia Earhart Poem by Varna Soyokaze

Amelia Earhart

Rating: 5.0

Amelia Earhart, the nurse of world war one,
Became a social worker later in Boston.
Though none of her family gave her a turn
She learned to fly all alone.
First was she a woman, to fly over Atlantic
To make a record which was really fantastic.
Then worked hard to get her first salary
And brought home her dear plane, 'The Kinney Cannery'.
And Oh! She flew all round, with wings so spread
Round the world with her friend Noonam Fred.
She heard the cheers and the bells which rings
Totally unknown to the end it brings.
Last they flew in ' Lockhead Electra'
Over the Pacific's marvelous spectra.
Then her flights came to an end
As were lost in the blue, forever the Friends! !
