When I was a child
My dream was to sit
In the ambassador.
When I entered in to
The service in this world
My District Magistrate
Was coming in the ambassador.
I was watching the ambassador
With my hungry eyes.
Time passed,
I have forgotten my dream,
The form of life, the way of life
And the toast to life, related to ambassador.
Today with my swift I see it passed away.

Nice poem. Dreams do always die for most of us. I think the words “in 1978” on line 5 are not needed. I love the lines: Time passed, I have forgotten my dream, The form of life, the way of life …” Very nice.
