Always Lose
Why try when my efforts are to no avail?
When every ounce of success is gone,
When my motivations have vanished.
Why try if there is nothing left?
When all my dreams lay like a shattered mirror-
Reflecting who I am as I toss it away in disgust.
If failing is all I am meant to accomplish,
If pain is all I am meant to cause, why try?
Why try?
Because if I do not try, I will always lose.
