Always Be Bemused Poem by Nichole Kaci McKnight

Always Be Bemused

Many scientist like to work with many questions and some speculation.
Many governments operate on the idea of erroneous indoctrination.
As you know Charles Dickens wrote the book; 'Great Expectations'.
Searching for the meaning of life can lead us to many complications.
Some of us forsake wisdom and reasoning.
A witless person generally doesn’t know a thing.
A smart person is usually someone who’s not too confused.
A clever person should be someone who’s always bemused.
Do not be preoccupied with too many unanswered questions.
We should always head our mothers’ suggestions.

Definition of bemused - adjective: deeply absorbed in thought
Example: 'As distant and bemused as a professor listening to the prattling of his freshman class'
