Aluminum Cans Poem by Debora Soramaki

Aluminum Cans

This is one way
You can start living green
On the side of the roads
The shine can be seen
When you go for a walk
You can pick up each one
Then a week of this work
And you've picked up a ton.
But it's sad when you see
That this just doesn't stop
People keep tossing
Those cans of pop.
Sure, it's nice to recycle
And get little money
But with trash and the lot
It just isn't funny.
So be kind to our earth
Do your part to be clean
And notice it's worth.
