Altar Of Pan Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Altar Of Pan

Rating: 5.0

The mighty wings black as death
He exalts himself
Crawls like a spider on granite
No beauty
No giving
Scepters of limestone torches

The second law of thermo dynamics
Crushed by eternity
I shall fly on my knees one day
Leaving slowly
Today is the vow
The normal is gone

Incantations in the balmy night
Earth of thorns and snakes
Masks hide her blue wizard
Sultry vines of bondage
Mountain gods in the wind
Sacrifices bring withered witches

Altar of Pan burns like a coven
