Altair Voyager The Twin Hulled Oil Tanker Poem by Chris Lane

Altair Voyager The Twin Hulled Oil Tanker

Rating: 5.0

Altair Voyager, The Twin Hulled Oil Tanker
Formerly known as
Chevron's “The Condoleezza Rice”

Upon high seas
In adverse weather
Loses control of her rudder:

With Props shut down
She nearly ran aground
South of the Gulf of Tonkin
Deep in the South China Sea.

Had she ran aground!
Consider the oil slick
A129,000 Ton oil ship
would make
reeking havoc in her wake
liberally spread throughout the region.
