Along The Road Poem by Michael Carlson

Along The Road

Rating: 2.7

Walking down the twisting road,
upon my shoulders,
a burden of woe.

Upon this road,
Which i am strewn,
I shuffle on,
Through air filled gloom

Upon this face,
full of defeat,
haunted eyes,
no smile can reach.

The farther i get,
The closer i am,
To a blissful dream,
A wishful end.
