Along Dreaming

A rem'nant hint in 'What's to Be'
a passing thought, a note.
Like song and passion helps,
along dreaming.

Forged with 'Hope' and 'Love'
bring forth a vetted quote.
Like love and joy helps,
along dreaming.

Lifts and wisks and barrel' by
that passing thought, a tote.
Like respect and consideration helps,
along dreaming.

Best of things are yet to be,
that passing thought, that note.
Like forgiveness and mercy helps,
along dreaming.

Poem of the Day

poet George Gordon Byron

So we'll go no more a-roving
So late into the night,
Though the heart still be as loving,
And the moon still be as bright.

For the sword outwears its sheath,
