I walked to where you were and yet you’re still alone,
and I draped my arms around you, nevertheless, you were cold.
Your eyes travel to a different place, where I do not know,
we linger on, stinging each other in a row.
You smile on the scent of a perfume you aren’t acquainted with,
and shed tears at the silliest songs I have ever heard.
You seem to live a life away yet close to me,
and linger on, not uttering a word.
You cry with every word I whisper in your ear,
sometimes I couldn’t get you out of bed at all.
You see pass through my eyes, it rips my soul,
yet I linger, hoping that we could go on.
You shiver at my kiss, I must frighten you.
You ran away from me and I myself tremble,
when you look at my picture
and you look as if you’d lost somebody.
