Alone? (Sonnet #3) Poem by Stephen Black

Alone? (Sonnet #3)

Rating: 5.0

I desist you
You stay alone
You stare at space
No luxury at all, not a single phone

Defuse your bomb, which is your mind
As you are solitary
You lie down and try to find...
A dog, a cat, or even a lone canary

You stay by yourself
Looking for another life-form
What do you find on a shelf
Miniature beasts, gathering like a swarm
So don't be such a dreary drone,
When you just found out, YOU'RE NOT ALONE
