Alone In Thought Poem by Rafael Cazares

Alone In Thought

Alone in thought
Like the fixed, relentless movements
Of a robot.

Alone in thought,
And I alone suffer where I
Have been Misguided and Caught.

Alone in thought
Without the Serenity and
Synchronizations that I have sought.

Alone in thought,
And I wonder whether
these will continue an
Eternity after I
fatefully rot.

Alone in thought
No matter where the spot,

And they accompany my own lowliness,
Under these shades of night,
And tug me to the deepest depths of my loneliness,
With my visions in sight.
